North Aurora is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and North Aurora follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I am so incredibly grateful for the doctor and the whole team here, especially since my primary dentist sent me over as a last minute referral. They somehow managed to squeeze me in and do the entire procedure that exact same afternoon, which completely took away all my anxiety. The staff was so sweet and welcoming, taking the time to show me my X-rays and MRIs while explaining the treatment and what to expect during recovery. The doctor was honestly amazing and totally patient centered he sat down to listen to my concerns about a bad experience I had at a different clinic, which led me to need this operation. He constantly checked in on me during the procedure to make sure I was comfortable and pain free, and I can easily say he’s by far the best doctor I’ve ever met. Thank you so much for everything!

This was the worst experience I have ever had in any doctor’s office. I would absolutely never recommend this practice to anyone, and the only reason I ended up here was because of a referral from my dentist’s office that I have been going to since I was young. I have had an extensive history with various teeth doctors due to an accident when I was a kid. Because of this, I trusted North Aurora Smiles blindly without looking into reviews myself. If I had seen any of these before, rest assured I would have found a different office ASAP. This referral was for a wisdom tooth extraction. My mom came as I am only 19 and during the initial consultation, the doctor basically just glanced at my X-rays, told us that I would need all of my wisdom teeth extracted, then explained the steps of the procedure very hurriedly. When he asked us if we had any questions (which we did) they were brushed off rather quickly and I didn’t feel that they got the full attention that they deserved. This should have been a red flag, but we went ahead and booked the surgery because it needed to be done, and we went to this doctor at the direct suggestion of a trusted dentist. When the day of surgery came I was

The office staff is the BEST, Diana, called my insurance to find out what my portion would be before making my appointment. She got me in the next day, Dr. Parkinson is an AMAZING ORAL SURGEON! He took the time to explain EVERYTHING he was doing. Nothing hurt!!! A bit of heavy bleeding ( was told this would happen) then everything calmed down within 3 hours of the procedure. Now the healing begins. Thank you for having such a CARING STAFF. I highly recommend Aurora Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in North Aurora. Everyone cares about you before, during and after your appointment.

IF I CAN GIVE THIS A ZERO STAR I WOULD! Young DENTAL CARE REFERRED ME… This was a terrible appointment. THIS APPOINTMENT TRAUMATIZED AGAIN FOR DENTIST! They rushed me and the staff was rude! They made me pay $800 after checking me in and getting me in chair while prepping for my right top and bottom wisdom extraction with a clipboard and a billing contract knowing this was an emergency dental appointment that I was referrred. Telling me “ we can not perform this procedure without full paymen” and stated they don’t do payment plans unless you’re a returning patient. Then into the procedure, I didn’t have enough anesthesia and literally felt them ripping and tugging on my tooth causing me to panic mid surgery and cry . The pain was so bad and all they did was push the anesthesia mask back up on my face and held it down. They whole Process took like 10 minutes. They didnt check up on me like they said, they didn’t stitch up neither of my wounds just left them there. I went to get a MRI SCAN two weeks after because I thought I had bad sinuses with a migraine for a week and half , face swollen and in pain. Come to find out I have a periodontal infection on my right side of the mouth cau
